News Anchor -
Keep your doors locked, keep your kids close, and hide all of your batteries. Strange things happening near the West Virginia and Pennsylvania border. There are rumors that Mothman is back! People are worried that they are in danger and that the police have made no progress with the case. Thankfully no one has been hurt. One man says he’s heard howling noises…
Person being interviewed 1 -
It sounded like Ah -Ahh-Ahhh- and A-AA-AAA
News Anchor -
Security cameras caught what could be a person, but potentially something else. Is this the return of mothman? We are are not allowed to play the video, because after seeing it you may have nightmares.
Person being interviewed 2 -
I saw it! and I think it saw me! It was a monster! About yah tall and this wide. My heart stopped and I couldn’t run I was so scared. I think it was eating something so then I slowly backed up until it was out of sight.
News Anchor -
One case a woman says that something went through her trash and stole the battery from her car
News Anchor -
Person being interviewed 3 -
This wasn’t no raccoon! My car battery is gone! Had to be a person,
News Anchor -
Another man says all of the remote controls in his house went missing the same night a neighbors house was broken into and the same thing happened. There were two small notes left behind that nobody has been able to understand yet.
Person being interviewed 4 -
Something came into my home, stole the batteries from our remote controls and left this! I am beyond creeped out. Knowing whatever is out there was also here and knows where we live
News Anchor -
People are told be extra careful until the creature has been identified.
(Character A and Character B are two friends that want to get a video of the creature to kick start an independent news podcast they want to start.)
Character A checks his phone and then hurries to make a phone, while he is at his job. Character B answers, he is running around packing things at home.
Character A -
We got to go today or someone else is going to get this before we do.
Character B -
I’m many steps ahead of you. I’m here already packing the gear. What time he will get out of work?
Character A -
I am leaving now.
Character B -
They are letting you out early?
Character A -
No, I am about to quit this stupid job. See ya soon
Character A ends his phone call and prints out some paper from the pos, writes something, and hands it to someone
Character A -
There ya go here’s my two second notice that I quit, have a good life
Character A comes through the door where Character B is
Character A -
You ready to get this podcast going?!
Character B -
I can’t believe you just quit your job.
Character A -
Did you see the last situation?
Character B -
Yea, why?
Character A -
It happened only a few miles from the last one. It has to be in that area. This is out big shot.
Character B -
Should we bring a gun?
Character A -
Do you have any guns?
Character B -
No, I’m just saying maybe we should get one.
Character A -
There is no time for that, we need to go now. Grab a shovel, a squirt gun, that holy water you got, and bear spray.
There is a monolog with Character A describing what they are doing / what’s going on
Character A -
Hi, my name is Character A and I’m with character B, we are from Pittsburgh, PA. Welcome to our Podcast! we are going to get some great footage for our first episode! There is a creature lurking through West Virginia and Pennsylvania and we are going to capture some footage. We will be heading down there and camping for the weekend and should be back in a couple days.
They are in the car driving.
Character A -
I have a good feeling about this.
They stop in Ruff Creek, PA and ask a local if they have heard or seen anything and they just what has been on the news
Person being interviewed 5 -
It’s all kinda creepy if you ask me. I don’t want to talk about it.
They then stop in Lost Creek, WV and ask a local the same thing.
Person being interviewed 6 -
Something wrong with you, chasing monsters. Everyone is terrified and you think this is a game?
They make it down to Parkersburg, WV and go to the bridge that collapsed the last time there was a mothman back in the day. They are warned that they might not want to go looking for Mothman.
Person being interviewed 7 -
Aint nothing going on this south. I wouldn’t be playing them woods though. I wouldn’t be trying to find it if I were you
They start to drive north and decide to camp in northern West Virginia. They stop at the convenience store where the creature came in.
Person being interviewed 8 -
Yea, it was here and now everybody wants to come here and ask me about it. Are you going to buy anything?
Character A buys some gummie worms and they leave.
Character A -
We have about 30 minutes until we get to our destination for the night.
SONG -"Hills are mountains to smaller people"
Character A -
Change the channel because the song playing is so bad.
Character B changes the channel and plays a different song.
SONG -"Please Don't Pee in My Bed"
The characters listen for a little
Character A -
This song is even worse.
Character B -
Even worse than the music is that the fuel light has been on and they need to get some gas or we are going to run out.
They keep driving, but then the car runs out of gas.
Character A -
What are we going to do?
Character B -
We are going to have to walk.
Character A -
But where? we have been driving around the same road for hours!
Character B -
We should cut through the woods, maybe we will get the footage we came for
Character A -
I am freaked out, maybe we shouldn’t have done this.
Character B -
We probably have a better shot of finding the creature while in the woods.
Character A -
I wish I brought food that wasn’t candy.
They see some wooden signs with hieroglyphs of stick figures and a large soccer ball.
They come across a hill with some ran down shacks and homes. They walk onto the hill and some people come staggering as a strange character arrives…
The characters see a strange person standing there.
Fuggins -
Bucky?…
Character A -
Hello?
Fuggins -
Bucky?… Idat you?
Character A -
No says character A I’m chracter A do you have a cell phone that works?
Fuggins -
You aint bucky who are yous? What ja do with Bucky?!?!
Fuggins runs off in a hurry. The Characters follow Fuggins.
Fuggins -
You aints Buckies Soccerball!
Character A -
What?

What are you doing here and what do you want?
Fuggins makes a wild call and makes his way to the characters.
